FAQ

What is YieldShield?

Downside protection for an asset. Holders keep the upside, and paid providers back a fixed claim.

Is it insurance?

Not traditional insurance, but similar: providers back your position. Unlike an insurer, every reserve and term is on-chain for anyone to check, and there is no claims process. There is no guaranteed return, and protection stops at the reserved backing. All risks

Can I use real money?

Not yet. Everything runs on testnets with valueless tokens, and the contracts are unaudited.

What do providers earn?

A share of holders' realized gains, set by each pool's creator. When a holder takes the backing, providers get the asset and lose if it fell.

Why so many chains?

People invest on many chains, and our mission is to protect them wherever they are. It is one design, built natively for each chain. Our mission
